Asilomar 2009 Activities

We hope you'll join us in the evenings after dinner in Merrill Hall.  We have more exciting ideas in the works -- so check back as the event gets closer for further information!

"Meet the Artists"Let’s gather to kick off the Asilomar Retreat! Meet the instructors who will be guiding you throughout out the week, say hello to old friends, trade and meet new friends!

Mon. 6-10pm
Creativity Zone
Work on projects or meet up with friends.


Tue. 7-10pm
Artist Exhibition/Sale
Instructors/Artists will display their wares and have original art and supplies for sale. This event is open to attendees only and is free of charge.

Wed. 7-9pm
Share Your Art
Bring your class projects and come and see what everyone’s made in the workshops. Gather to say good-bye to new friends and old.

 Shuttle Service from Airports to Asilomar

From SFO (approx 2 hrs. 15 min.): 11 buses run every day from the airport; cost is $40 one-way, plus $15 fee to be dropped at Asilomar (the $15 Asilomar drop-off fee may be shared IF a group makes their shuttle reservation together, ahead of time).

From SJC (approx. 1 hr. 30 min.): 11 buses run every day from the airport; cost is $30 one-way, plus $15 fee to be dropped at Asilomar (the $15 Asilomar drop-off fee may be shared IF a group makes their shuttle reservation together, ahead of time)
