Our lives are full of little collections....and wouldn't it be so nice to showcase those little collections in glass to wear or show off? In this workshop we will create relics (containers) from old bottles, jars, wine glasses, shot glasses, and more that we bring from home. Using Big Red (the magic glass-cutting saw), we will cut our containers and ends to construct a vessel which will hold miniature momentos. Perhaps you have sand, shells, and a bit of driftwood (your ode to the beach), or maybe its a miniature eiffel tower, snippet from a French dictionary, and loose rhinestones (to remember your trip to Paris), or even mini-mini charms with photos of your family along with swatches of baby blankets and buttons from christening gowns! We will solder our relics closed and embellish with decorative soldering techniques. With creative ways to display them (as a pendant, on a desktop, or on the wall), all will find endless ideas for making more...and more...and more!
A $15 materials fee is payable to the instructor on the day of class.

*IMPORTANT - when using images, do not use glossy or satin finish images as they will distort under the glass*
