1065 - Coptic Stitch Book

Is it a relic from medieval times, a book left by the fairies, or something from a distant planet far, far away? This tiny treasure looks elegant and old, and fits in the palm of your hand. You will have several designs to choose from to create the unusual raised pattern on your covers. The hand torn pages will be stained to create a rich patina. One needle Coptic stitching, and a metal closure complete your book.

Supply list:  apron, bone folder, ruler, utility knife (this is more sturdy than an xacto knife), cutting mat, pencil, scissors, plastic palette, a few small brushes of various sizes, awl or if you have one, a Japanese hole punch with a 1.5mm or 2mm bit

Materials fee of $10 includes:  all materials necessary for the project, including a detailed handout
