Construct a playful yet historic book structure, that will enable us to explore various Ethiopian style bindings. Working with various papers and few tools, learn to bind two volumes that will share a back cover. This structure makes for a wonderful wedding gift or before and after project.

A $15 materials fee is payable to instructor on the day of class.

Supply List:
--Ruler
--Awls
--4"-6" plastic square
--Glue brush
--Scissors
--Pencils: wood, mechanical, Prismacolor #PC938(white)
--White eraser
--Japanese paper drill
--¼ palm chisel
--Exacto knife and blades
--Small cutting matte

Materials fee includes:
--2 Text blocks
--Handmade paper
--Assortment of waxed linen thread
--Needles
--PVA glue
--Other misc. materials or tools needed to complete the project
