Painting the face isn't as intimidating as many may think and there are many ways to go about painting a face. Come discover your own way with my gentle guidance, in this class designed to explore the many ways to draw and paint portraits using acrylic paint, pencil, artist crayons, inks, image transfers. It will be a full day of techniques and play to inspire you to paint the face.
Supply List:
- 3 canvas 12" x 12"
- Acrylic paints: I Highly recommend: Golden Titanium White (8 0z), small tubes of Paynes Gray, Quinacridone/ Nickel Azo Gold, Quinacridone Crimson, Hansa Yellow Medium.
- Golden Medium Regular Gel Matte
- Artist Crayons: Neocolor II, Caran D' Ache (http://www.dickblick.com/> www.dickblick.com)
- Variety of Adirondack Re-Inkers (3-5) Or any other Water Soluble ink ( http://www.blockheadstamps.com/> http://www.blockheadstamps.com)
- Large Face images (from old art books or magazines), ephemera, old text, old poetry books
- a pad of drawing paper, any size/kind
- Black Marks All Pencil Aquarella Stabilo (<http://www.dickblick.com/> www.dickblick.com)
- Brushes, small to medium I love filbert or flat, but it's up to you.
- A few rags
- Something to hold water...a travel water container or cup
