P393 - Walking Rusty

Using simple materials, reminiscent of old primitive doll making, then adding a touch of modern whimsy, we will create a body from a household wooden object and basic craft store finds. The head and wee pup will be formed from Paper Clay. Then an array of materials will be used to embellish our lady; ribbons, beads, lace, buttons, felt, silk, mesh etc. I will also teach attaching methods as well as basic design principles . A variety unique paint finishes will be used to add color and uniformity to her body . An optional music box may be purchased to add to her base.
