Creating enclosed spaces. Students of all skill levels are invited to learn various approaches for creating containers – from cold joining to scoring and soldering; wearable to non-wearable; conceptual to utilitarian. Thomas Mann has pushed the limits and explored the concepts of containers throughout his career – from the size of a ring to that of a building – and brings this wealth of information to his students. Supply List:  --Pliers (round, flat, needle, side flush cutter) --other jewelry making hand tools --rivet hammer --small rawhide, nylon or paper mallet --medium steel wool.  **Please note--there will be a kit fee of either $25 or $35, depending on skill level--payable directly to the instructor on day of class. IMPORTANT--this class will be held at the Holiday Inn, just down the road from the Embassy Suites. The hotel shuttle will be available for those who need transportation.  Lunch is included in the cost of your class. Online registration for the Portland event is now closed. Late sign-ups will be taken at the Art & Soul office at the Portland event, depending upon availability. Please check in with us there if you wish to inquire about a class. Thank you!
