You're fascinated with art dolls. You yearn to create one of your very own. One so unique she gets "WOW's" whenever you show her off. One created from the silliness in your soul. She is part you. Part someone you know. Part someone you want to be. Create your own Art Doll from vintage found objects, wire, glass, porcelain, plastic, paper, etc. Learn to solder. Collage. Transfer. Embellish. Relish in your silly soul as you discover who you really are through the creation of yourself. (NOTE: approximately 8" tall, vintage porcelain doll head or Barbie head or other object, soldered on top of a glass body holding "secrets" with a cone skirt created from wire or cemetery flower holders or paper cones or ???...All totally embellished with revealing collage..and boobies, of course). Supply List: --Scissors --Pliers: Round-Nose, Needle-Nose (aka Chain Nose), Bent-Nose, and Regular --Household Pliers --Paint Brush --Cutting Pad or Work Surface --Hand Towel or Apron for your lap --Pencil or Pen --Tweezers (long, skinny ones) --Magnifying Glasses ~ Only if you need to see small objects --Doll Head ~ Porcelain doll head, Barbie, photograph of head...all under 2-1/2" tall (taller if you don't mind the scale) ** I will bring one circa 1800's German Porcelain Doll Head for you to use if you don't want to use your own** Optional Items--bring any or all for creativity and to enhance your project: --Your favorite stamps and stamp pads --Favorite Paints, Water Color Pencils or Crayons --Collage Items:  pressed flowers, old papers, tickets, color copies of photographs, black & white xerox copies, inkjet prints, transparencies, vintage postcards, postage stamps, letters, words-phrases-quotes, etc.  (Remember: we will be working on a small scale, so bring plenty of images sized about 1-1.5”...although anything can be cut to size!) --Crystals, Beads and more Beads --Calligraphy Ink and Pen or other Pen/Ink you like to use --Found Objects: metal letters, eyelets, silver charms, tags, ribbon, buttons, velvet leaves, embroidery thread, typewriter keys, doll parts, crystals, pearls, rhinestones, beads, tin cans, game pieces, feathers, milagros, keys, old/broken costume jewelry, game pieces, etc.  The more found objects, the merrier!
