317 - New Wave Bracelet |

Mix two of my favorite materials, beads and fibers, and you get this lush cuff bracelet. Start by creating a wire form covered with fibers, and then use several different beading techniques that embellish the form. Take the mystery out of freeform peyote stitch--it's easy and fun! Tubular peyote, beading around a cabochon, fringing and bead embroidery stitches will also be covered. This is a great project for using up all those small amounts of leftover beads, and the end result is a very eclectic and easy-to-wear piece of jewelry.
Supply List: --round nose pliers --wire cutters --scissors --4 yards of an art fiber (preferably something smooth that has variegated colors) --an assortment of beads that coordinate with the fiber--you will need small amounts of seed beads in a range of sizes and colors, cube beads, triangle beads, bugles, small decorative beads and charms. You can even use sequins and small buttons.
Materials provided: wire, beading needle, thread, and decorative elements such as cabochons, some beads and fibers, glue.
