Create a journal with patchwork art quilt covers combining altered paper, transparencies and hand-painted cloth. Explore fabric and paper painting and dyeing techniques including color scraping, monoprints, dyed cloth stamping, stenciling and glazing. Learn how to doodle letters and faces on fabric, apply crayon transfers, and layer fabric with hand painted transparencies and colored-dyed images. Learn to adorn fabric collage patches with my version funky “freestyle” stitching techniques. Binding in hand-painted signatures with freeform macramé, crochet and beads finishes off the book. No sewing experience required. Learn techniques as described in my book, "Collage Unleashed", due out May 2006!
