This workshop will teach you how to make a beautiful, durable miniature book made entirely from sheets of papyrus and paper. Inspired from a 2,000 year-old book structure, this book project requires few tools. You will learn a Coptic style binding that I have designed, incorporating two colors of thread. Supply List: --pencils (wood, mechanical & white lead); --sharp scissors; --Exacto knife & blades; --cutting surface; --bone folder; --ruler; --awl; --plastic triangle; --small detail paint brushes. Instructor will provide: paper, papyrus, thread, needles & glue. CLOSED - CLASS FULL Online registration for the Portland event is now closed.
