Take your collaging skills to the next level with this exciting and expansive class. You will use luminous Pebeo acrylic paints or Lumiere paints, collage elements, and lastly, oil paints. The incredible richness of color and dimension will blow your mind! Using vintage photos, postcards and other paper ephemera, we will create magnificent works of art. Various techniques will be shown on applying the layers to your surfaces. Students will finish one to three pieces in class, depending on the individual's speed. Supply List: --4-5 tubes (60ML) of Pebeo paint or 2.23 oz jars of Lumiere; --heavy gel matte medium; --3-5 tubes of oil paints; --industrial-strength paper towels on the roll; --scissors; --vintage photos, --postcards, dictionary pages, maps, etc; --small bottles of odorless linseed oil, --baby oil and turpenoid; --3 flat bristle brushes--small, med & large; --glass jar with lid; --various sizes gessoed canvases ( 6x6 to 12x12); --5 to 10 sheets white tissue paper.
