Karen Landey was a featured collage artist on the HGTV show, “Crafters Coast to Coast” where she demonstrated her techniques for using art tissue paper as a collage medium. In this class you will explore ways that this incredibly versatile art paper can be used to create brilliantly colored and transparent effects through layering and tearing partially dried papers. Image transfers, stamped, torn and printed art tissue paper will be used to create intricate layers and to build your collage. You will finish two 6” square ceramic tiles that will be ready to hang. Supply List: --regular or soft gel medium; --sponge brushes; --favorite rubber stamps; --StazOn ink (black or brown); --gold Rub-n-Buff; --scissors; --embossing heat tool Questions?
