This is a fun and inspirational creativity workshop.  I'll share my tips about brainstorming, idea boards, my art process, digital manipulation, photocopy wonders, and designs…..all leading up to finished artwork.  Ever wonder what to do with your art doodles or finished artwork? Recycle, reuse and expand it!  Discover interesting ways to extend your artwork in this idea-generating workshop. We will do fun, creative exercises including doodle maps, idea boards and color cutouts that will get you thinking about your art in new ways.  You will receive a *girlie glam* idea workbook filled with 30+ pages of creative exercises, projects, jumpstarts, resources and inspiration.  You will also receive a *girlie glam* packet of goodies to use in your artwork. Learn techniques from my book, Collage Unleashed, due out July 2006! Supply List: --bone folder --a favorite magazine --pen/pencil --scissors --glue stick --eyelet punch, setter and craft hammer --embellishments, such as beads, fibers, wire, charms, letter tiles, ribbon, buttons, silk flowers, collage bits, mementos, alphabet tiles, glass/acrylic tags…anything else you would like to add into your book. --a few favorite stamps/alphabet stamps with deeply etched designs (I will have plenty to share, unmounted work great!) --painting apron/smock --a piece of finished artwork - could be a collage, journal page, painting, etc. I provide a bookmaking kit including paper & embellishments, but you are welcome to bring your own selection of papers to personalize your book. NOTE--this class will be held at the Holiday Inn, just down the road from the Embassy Suites. The hotel shuttle will be available for those who need transportation.
