1205 - House of Style (2 Days)

We all have our dream-homes. Some of us are blessed enough to live in them. Others only see them at night when we close our eyes. Now we can capture the essence of our dream homes in House of Style...a glass-encased dream home of our very own. In this very special Workshop we will spend the first day collaging the interior and exterior walls, floors, and ceilings of our dream home. Style is in the details...so some fun techniques for achieving a fanciful look will be discovered. Then, we’ll spend the second day assembling our 1-1/2 story home. Oh, did I mention that we’ll be making furniture, too? Couches and chairs and tables, oh, my! In the end, we will truly have our dream home. And when we see it, we will imagine ourselves living there...and loving every minute of it.

Supply List:
--Round-Nose Pliers
--Bent-Nose Pliers
--Flat-Nose Pliers (with teeth)
--Wire Cutters (small)
--Scissors
--Cutting Pad or Work Surface
--Cookie-Sheet (at least 8x10)
--Hand-towels or Apron
--Pencil or Pen
--Small Steel Bench Blocks (two if you have them)
--Ephemera, photos, ribbon, and most especially, furniture cut out of decorating magazines and catalogs
--Acrylic paint, pastels, chalks and colored pencils you would like to use.
--Soldering Supplies (if you have your own soldering iron, rheostat, solder, extension cord, etc...please bring it)

Materials fee includes:  Hand-cut glass, copper tape, shared use of soldering supplies, etc.

*Note: The finished house will be approximately 10” x 10” x 5”
