This class will produce beautiful patterned paper and abstract designs, using stamps and stencils as alternatives to brushes and pens. We will be using acrylic paint instead of ink on very thin paper. The class will experiment with some old techniques such as layering and glazes and try out some new ones such as mono-printing. Working with paper you have designed, printed or created yourself is a real joy. It may be hard to ever go back to paper made by a machine. In some ways, each sheet of hand printed paper is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
This class stands alone and is for all levels for calligraphers, book and paper artists, collage and multimedia artists
