In this workshop you'll learn lots of different drawing methods and materials that will enable you to draw what inspires you quickly. Lots of tips will be given on how to make your drawings look realistic using simple shading and easy color theory. You'll learn how to train your eye to see drawing subjects everywhere and you"ll use picture planes and grids to make this process painless. The emphasis of the class will be on feeling free to make lines on paper, making mistakes and drawing over them rather then erasing. This approach will help you produce wonderful drawings full of character that can be used in sketchbooks, travel journals and just about any project. You'll also learn simple ink and watercolor wash techniques to bring your drawings to life.
