Create the art studio of your dreams! In this unique all-day workshop you will create the design and floor plan for your dream art studio. Ideas and inspirations discussed will be design ideas for your studio, organizing your studio and supplies, sorting your art supplies and projects and creating working and inspiration areas in your studio. Learn exciting ways of focusing on your art!

The workshop information will apply to artists who have a full studio or a space in the garage or on the dining room table! Also included will be a discussion of color for your space, creating your floor plan, lighting ideas for your studio and the personalizing touches for your dream art studio. Included in the cost of the class will be a manual with suggestions for creating your art studio, photographs of actual artist’s studios and the material discussed in the workshop.

Supply list:
--Photographs of your existing studio space or the area where you would like it to be
--Measurements of your studio (floor and wall areas, closet areas) if you would like assistance in class with the design and floor plan of these areas
--Magazine photos of art studios (or parts of art studios you like)
--Catalogs - Storage, furniture, art supply companies - the more the better!
--Graph paper
--Drawing pencil (4B or 6B)
--Eraser
--12” ruler
Optional - Colored pencils if you want to color in your designs and floor plans
