Capture the little moments from your daily life or grand adventures from your travels in your one-of –a-kind artful journal. You’ll begin by creating a journal to work in that reflects your own personal style or a special destination. We will deconstruct a book and cover it with decorative papers, fabric and ribbons, then stitch in sturdy pages and embellish with buttons and beads, all without the mess of glue!

Bring your journal to life with simple sketches that anyone can do- no drawing experience necessary! We’ll play with a variety of fun exercises designed to take the fear out of drawing in your journal. Learn techniques for incorporating pen and ink, watercolor and collage in this highly addictive medium. Beginners and experienced journalers alike will be well on their way to a new daily habit that will change the way they look at the world!

Cynthia has been creating artful journals for years and will have her many journals on display to provide loads of inspiration for your own journals.  No supplies required!

Materials fee covers everything you'll need, including:

--all tools needed
