I had to wear a suit to work (boy, was I confused…) so I started making my own jewelry to wear. A Nordstrom buyer spotted it and a 15-year jewelry career was born! All cold fused, I created mixed media assemblages to wear out of recycled components and beads.
Spend the evening playing with a vast assortment of found objects and beads. You will be creating your own pendant or pin while experimenting with various techniques for attaching beads and assorted elements. Learn how to combine different materials while trying some methods I use in design and construction. I will pass on material sources and secrets of the jewelry trade.
