1285 - Integrated Felt Collage

Integrate wool, cashmere, silk and soy fibers into pieces of soft and lustrous felt. (The feel, hand of these pieces is incredible!) This wet felting technique uses layers of materials to create a strong and intricate fabric suitable for use in jewelry, fashion, book or home décor applications. We’ll make 2 each of two different types, weights of felted collaged fibers. Once you learn this technique you can easily transfer this skill to create larger pieces such as scarves, stolls, pillows, totes and throws.

Supply List:
--Bamboo Placemat or sushi mat
--Tray that bamboo mat will fit, can be slightly smaller
--2 cup measuring cup
--Old bath towel

Materials fee includes:
--Netting
--4 bases
--Wool, cashmere, soy and silk to complete 4 pieces
