Learn how to make fused silver handmade chain and links to create one of a kind jewelry with a butane torch and skip the mess of solder and pickle. The possibilities are endless with this technique. You can modify the techniques to get refined links or hammer and texture to get an organic feel. In addition to learning to fuse links, we will also learn basic wire wrapping technique; create headpins, ear wires as well as some techniques to simplify jump ring production so you can make tons of jump rings quickly. The holidays are around the corner and you can make some great gifts with these techniques.
Supply List:
--Chain nose pliers
--Round nose pliers
--Flush cut wire cutters
--Small Steel Bench Block (if you have one – I have a few to share)
--Chasing Hammer
--Clasp – toggle or lobster claw if you wish to make a bracelet
--Charms and beads to incorporate into your design fit on 24- 20 gauge wire
--24 gauge sterling headpins to hang beads on earrings
--2 briolettes or top drilled beads for earrings
Instructor will have torches and fuel. Some tools on the supply list will be available to share, but if you have your own, please bring them.

--Fine silver wire to make ear wires and some head pins
--Fine silver jump rings for a project – enough to make a bracelet and earrings
--Sterling jump rings and 20 gauge sterling wire to add beads to bracelets
