All hearts a flutter as we gather together for the day to explore mixed media techniques incorporating found object, painting, collage and wax on a heavy duty 3-dimensional wood substrate. Using the simple shape of a heart, or if you prefer another simple motif, we will explore some painting techniques that I use to create my own unique artwork. Learn all about Golden Absorbent Ground and its wonderful range of possibilities. Combined with collage, found objects and a luminous layer of beeswax, you will go home with a beautiful work of art and a broad array of techniques that can be adapted to many art applications in this technique/project class.
