This class was so much fun at last year's Art & Soul that I can't wait to teach it again! Let’s spend the day making a gorgeous piece of artwork for your home! This will be a fun, playful class that’s perfect for all skill levels. We’ll have a blast painting, altering and embellishing DreamBoxes (handmade tin frames from Mexico, also known as nichos). You’ll learn great techniques for painting on metal, along with tons of ideas and inspiration. This will be a delightful experience, where you’ll make and take home a stunning and unique piece of artwork that’s sure to wow your friends!
Supply List:
Scissors
Favorite glue for paper, Yes glue, Diamond Glaze and/or Glue Dots
Paintbrush
Optional items or suggestions to enhance the class project:
If you have any of the following items handy, please bring them to class: Awl, hammer, cutting mat, heat gun, jewelry pliers, wire, gesso, acrylic paints, alcohol inks, sandpaper, metallic paint pens, photos and charms that have special meaning to you. I will have extras on hand for everyone to share so please don’t worry if you don’t have any of these items.
