Join me for two days of jewelry making creativity while we construct a one-of-a-kind wingkeeper necklace. On day one, we’ll work on a variety of winged things that will serve as the focal for your necklace. You’ll finish at least two beautiful, flying “creatures” meant to be suspended from a central hook. I’ll cover wire forming, wire wrapping and tassel making techniques. Day two we’ll create a gorgeous, found object, bead and silk necklace. This necklace is packed with wire jewelry making techniques including rosary style links, wire wrapped fabric links, beaded “dreamcatcher” links, “antennae” links, clasp making, wire wrapped loop ends and making perfect jump rings. I’ll also demonstrate my technique for creating a wire nest charm as seen published in Stampington’s Belle Armoire Jewelry.
I sing in the shadow of your wings. Ps. 63:7
