This "Treasure Pouch" class will equip you to create any "vessel" you might want to create out of wool fleece. We will be taking the fleece through a series of wet and dry manipulations to end up with a pouch to hold anything you would like, memories, an idea, your ipod? You decide if you have a particular idea bring your notes along and we can work together to give your idea tangibility! The pouch itself will be completed in class, the embellishment's completion will be determined by your level of complexity.
Elements included in kit:
- Fleece
- Hand dyed ribbon
- Felting needles
- Sewing needles
- Nymo
- Sequins/seed beads
Please bring:
- A shoe box size Tupperware container
- A large terrycloth towel
- A cookie sheet or tray with short sides
- Ideas
- Pen/paper
- Sharp pointy (preferably small) scissors
- Any embellishments you might want to add to the mix.
