Do you want to make flowing and interesting letters without studying formal calligraphy? There are easy and fun ways to make letters, wonderful letters, in your journals and artwork. I have met so many people who refuse to write in their handmade journals because they don't like their writing, and I truly believe this is a problem that can be overcome, far more easily than you might think. I have been trained in formal calligraphy, but rarely use it because I prefer to work this way. My years of calligraphic study have been distilled into some simple exercises for you to create letters with funk and flair.
Don’t worry about what to write, I will help you with ideas and launching points, and even page design ideas. Your kit will include small poems and stories to inspire you. We will end up with a sample book with pages full of how-tos that you can use as a reference.
You can see my journal lettering featured in the third issue of Art Journaling by Somerset Studio.
