Plenty of color and plenty of fun, the Book of Plenty has it all. We'll start off decorating our covers with foil and paints, texturizing the cover surface and painting rich, translucent colors. We'll draw and write into the fresh paint, adding more texture and interest. Paper will be spritzed and sprayed and stenciled to create colorful outer “guards” for each signature. If time allows we'll paint all the text pages. The covers can be embellished with images and chipboard frames, gaffer’s tape and 3D embellishments, wired into place. I'll bring some images but feel free to bring your own copies. We'll bind it all together with an over the cord binding .If you have any questions you may contact me at: thphantom@aol.com.

The $5.00 kit fee payable to the instructor at the beginning of class - covers pre cut book board, foil, Golden GAC 200, Golden fluid acrylics in several colors, 7 Gypsy’s gaffer tape, needle, waxed linen thread and two chipboard frames.

Supply List:
Four sheets of 11” x 15” watercolor paper or Stonehenge. It needs to be a paper that can hold up to wet media. The paper can be torn to size from one 22”x 30” sheet.

awl and cushion (like a mouse pad)
cheap brushes for acrylic paint

Images and/or 3D elements to wire onto the cover (I used pewter branches from Studios Blackbird)
