Learn to sculpt a 3-4” polymer clay head from beginning to end. Build a neck and upper torso that host a clock bezel. Add hair and embellishments to create a unique bust! This class will be a bit challenging for you if you have no experience working with polymer clay. Prior sculpting experience is not necessary, but is welcome!
Supply List: --Flesh colored polymer clay (one pound brick or at least 5 two-ounce packages) --Fabric-tac glue --Yarn or Fiber (for hair) --Compass for drawing circles --Sharp craft knife --Wire cutters --Small hand Mirror --Sculpting tools --needle tool --clay shapers, ball stylus & other favorite tools --Assorted paint brushes (soft loose and acrylic—cheap brushes are fine) --Bezel clock that fits a 2” opening --14-16mm flat-backed glass doll eyes—must be glass or another bakeable material (email me at jessicalacosta@gmail.com if you have questions! )
Optional items: focal item for top of head (small tiara, jewelry, tiny teacup etc.), beads, buttons, lace, trims
Materials fee includes: apoxie sculpt, paper mache box, paints, chalks, and other misc. items to make project
