This project features a unique combination of polymer clay and apoxie sculpt, allowing you to use the best properties of both mediums to create a unique doll form. Come in with a theme in mind such as a garden or the ocean or just bring a variety of fun embellishments and see where they take you!
We will use polymer clay in this project to create the head and upper torso of our doll. We will then use the properties of a two-part mix called apoxie sculpt to add layers to our creations. If you haven’t used apoxie sculpt before, you are in for a treat! Apoxie sculpt is a wonderful medium because it sticks to everything when mixed, allowing you to embed all kinds of objects into the surface whether they are beads, fibers, metals or powders. The apoxie sculpt then air dries, so you won’t have to worry about plastic embellishments melting.
