No drawing skills needed, no live models. We will strip the human body down to to its basic forms, then paste, paint, sponge, stencil and stamp. Many interesting techniques for applying acrylic and using painted paper that can be combined with techniques you already know. Bring lots of blue paint and old clothes!
Supply list: --5 pieces of watercolor paper approximately 4 x 9 , painted any color --5 pieces of good quality black paper, the same size as your watercolor paper. (Painted black paper works great.) --two bottles of blue craft paint and two bottles of Golden brand fluid acrylic, one blue, one any color you like --glue of your choice ( I use matte medium) --5 pieces of wax paper, 4 x 9 or bigger --sandpaper --8 FEET of freezer paper or white trash bags --2 x 3 inch piece of Safety-Kut or other stamp carving rubber(available at www.enasco.com or Daniel Smith) --cutting pad and Xacto knife --scissors --variety of brush sizes including foam brushes and cosmetic brushes --water container
