Unorthodox, loose, relaxed… the bohemian lifestyle can be translated to art too, by creating mixed media collages from “art leftovers”. Taking bits and pieces of something old, found or leftovers you will create a art book with a paper patchwork stitched collage cover embellished with a chunky vintage baubles and beads and free-form macramé Inside the journal are hand painted and stained pages that flip and fold in “non-traditional” ways. Learn paper staining and dyeing techniques, fusion-dyed collage pieces layered with black and white images, transparencies, color prints on fabric and iron-on transfers. Sewing machine optional, you can fuse, glue, staple or tape too!
