Faux Bone™ is one of the newest and most versatile materials to come along in years! In this workshop we will be using the Faux Bone™ to fashion a fabulous bracelet with a look and feel that’s a cross between ivory and Bakelite. You will be able to cut, stamp, file, inlay, scrimshaw and add virtually any object, paper, epoxy resin or surface design. The material is so strong you can rivet, nail, or screw anything to it without concern for cracking or breaking. We will also learn to set a faceted gemstone in a sterling silver tube and then inlay the tube, so that the set stones shows on both sides of your bracelet. The final piece can be finished in a whole range of textures and patinas.
