It’s midnight and you have 3 ATC’s due for a swap tomorrow. Oh, oh!!  Time for:  “TA DA”....Instant Art!  What is Instant Art? And why would I want to do it?  Well, it is the key to being able to use your own artwork and have it ready to go, when you need it. Saving you loads of time and lots of energy.  Instant art will be a day of fun that will reap big rewards for you in the future. The class focuses on having all your own artwork to work with, ready to go, so that when you sit down to do an altered book, a collage, or even just a card for a friend, you have all the componants ready to roll, and all you have to concentrate on is color and composition. We will explore the total concept of instant art: • what it is • why do it • where to do it • when to do it • how to do it • (and a real biggy) how to organize it And then...we’ll do it. The only supplies you will need are a pair of scissors, and a few of your most cherished small embellishments.  Everything else will be provided, including the fun.  You will go home with a notebook full of your own instant art.  We will be making some, but not all, of the following as time permits: --decorated ladies --small evelopes and cards to fit --transfers on matt board --word pockets with letter inserts --backgrounds, ready to roll --card tags and circle tags --thread gadget with words and thread --1.5” x 2” little beauties --slide mounts Please note:  These pics are just a sample of what can be done with your instant art. We will not be making cards in the class. They are just to show how quickly a card can be made, once you have your Instant Art in hand. What we will be making is a notebook FULL of Instant Art.
