A simple binding combines with fibers, leather and fun, easy techniques to create this delightful journal.  Ribbons and fibers are woven to create one of a kind covers.  Leather is colored and stamped to fashion the distinctive spine.   Lush silk ribbon attaches the spine to the covers.   The simple binding is sewn with fun ribbon and tabs are made with dotted ribbon to complete this tactile wonder.   It is a joy to behold and a blast to make.  Supply List: --16 pieces of watercolor (or similar weight, I like Stonehenge) paper, cut or torn to 11” wide x 7½” high --Pencil --Ruler scissors --Screw punch with 1/8” tip (same size as eyelets) --Cutting mat --Eyelet setter --Package of dental floss threaders (found near toothbrushes) --Some fibers (yarns) and ribbons ½” wide or less Optional:  charms or buttons   Materials fee includes:  Ooh La La ribbon, metal mesh, needle, leather spine.
