While this is not a difficult class, it may also interest advanced students, as this is not a typical book binding method.

Forever in search of the perfect journal, this is the closest thing ever! Easy to construct, very sturdy and opens flat to work in. There's also lots of room to include added fold out pages and embellishments. This journal measures 7" X 9 1/2", is simple in materials, design and construction. Once you learn the methods it will surely become one of your favorite journal constructions. Most everything you'll need to build this uniquely finished journal is supplied in your accompanying kit including materials for making and covering the book structure. You'll only need to bring a 1" natural bristle utility brush and a jar of off white craft paint and a few other basic supplies. You'll leave this workshop with a fully bound journal. Student will leave class with a bound book while also learning how to adapt this book construction method to future projects.
