In this class you will collage layers of ephemera onto your birch artist panel or wood panel you choose, and you will learn to paint the animals and backgrounds, and layer with tons of supplies and techniques to create a stunning one of a kind pieces of art that are not only beautiful they are educational, timeless and true conversation starters. They are statement pieces. In this class anybody will be able to accomplish this with the aid of the instructor.

Class Kit Fee ($30 without wood panels) ($40 with 8x10 Birch panel) payable to instructor at beginning of class includes:
Paper Ephemera and images
use of Matte medium, Golden Fluid Acrylic and High Flow paint, Inktense pencils, Posca paint pens, Indigo Flitter Glue and Gold Leafing, Gesso, Stencils,Paste, DecoArt Mixed Media Misters and Heavy Body Traditions artist Paints, DecoArt Texture , Caran Dā€™ Ache Neo Color II Pastels, Bleeding Art Tissue Paper, Rubber Stamps, Stayz On Ink Stamp Pad,
DecoArt Acrylic Gloss Finishing Spray and Varnish, Blue Painters Tape, Deli Paper and Tracing Paper, Sharpie, White Gel Pen, Tim Holtz and other Printed Tissue Papers
 

Supplies needed to bring to class:
small scissors
1 8x10 artist birch panels (if you do not wish to bring Kitty will have for sale in class)
A few paint brushes including:
flat shader, a 1ā€ brush for matte medium and gluing, a couple of round brushes and just a few you are comfortable with

Optional Supplies:
A craft dryer
Any paper ephemera or images you wish you use
(Anything you want to print to use must be done on laser printer and not ink jet printer) and for this class images can be just printed on regular paper
You can bring scrap book papers, wall papers, book pages, any paper ephemera you like, but do not feel you need to you will be provided plenty in your ephemera packets
