P311 - File Folders & Tip-Ins Book

$ 150

A couple of years ago I was trying to think of a way to save materials/instructions I received when taking classes, along with a copy of the art I did. I love working with file folders and have done books of only folders, but this book came out of wanting to add art and store things in the folders. That’s when I decided the tip-ins would be great. I usually scan my art and then glue it in one of the tip-in slots. This book is 10 ¼” X 12” made with canvas fabric and two canvas boards. We’ll paint our file folders, add some stenciling and then concentrate on doing the outside and inside covers in the same fashion, with additional layers. This book is so fun to make – and wait until you get home with it and start filling it with “stuff’”. I use mine for ephemera and collage pieces of paper that I’ve painted.
