P321 - You Can’t Sew Knits on a Domestic Machine… Or, Can You? Of Course You Can!

$ 155

NOTE: Sewing machine experience is required. This is an intermediate sewing class. You are being taught how to construct a project - not being taught how to sew. We will have 5 machines available for this class if you are traveling. Please contact glenny@artandsoulretreat.com to reserve a machine. If you live locally, please bring your machine and let us know so we can reserve for others!

If you’ve walked into any of the boutiques specializing in sportswear, you’ll see that stretch is all the rage. If you dare to look at the price tags, you’ll see that these little bits of fabric command really large prices, and, the number of people wanting to sew with stretch fabrics is growing by leaps and bounds. Here’s your chance to broaden your sewing savvy while sewing stretch fabrics. Drawing from Russell’s expertise and

his Mastering Stretch coursework, you’ll learn how to work with stretch fabrics to make a zippered hoodie and a pair of leggings (leggings, as time permits or the class insists!) – on a domestic machine, no less!

Materials Fee $ 50.00 paid to instructor at beginning of class includes
 All materials and pattern for making a zippered hoodie and a pair of leggings.
