P312 - Waiting for Spring

$ 150

Spring is in the air. In this fun and informative workshop, you will create an elegant wreath that will be perfect for door, wall, or hearth and will command attention at any season.
There will be a short introduction that will cover the process of preparing the feathers for use and caring for your finished masterpiece. I will also be explaining which feathers are legal to use and which are not, and how to collect feathers for your own use.
You will be learning many of my trade secrets! I will be sharing with you several interesting ways you can manipulate the feathers and the construction technique that I’ve developed over the decades. May it be spring colors or fall, there will be an array of natural colored feathers to choose from. Your striking, color-rich piece will make a bold statement wherever it hangs.

Materials fee $49 paid directly to instructor at beginning of class includes:
access to my 30+ year collection of natural color feathers, other mixed media, tools needed.

Supplies You Need to Bring to Class in addition to materials provided by instructor: 18’’ grapevine wreath, sharp scissors with 3 1/2’’ blade, LOW temperature glue gun, LOW temperature glue.
