In this 2-day class we will be creating mixed media panels that are soldered between glass.
On the first day we will be creating our collaged mixed media panels with supplied papers, scanned photo images, laces, buttons, glass glitter, etc. If time allows, we will place our panels between the glass pieces and seal them up with the copper tape.
On our second day we will begin soldering all the panels first and then we will attach all of the pieces together to make our boxes. You can choose whether you want to keep your soldering simple or to add the soldered bumps.
Materials Fee $40 cash paid at beginning of class includes:
Rectangular and square glass (12 pieces), poster board for panels, copper tape, large jump rings for hinges, glass glitter, papers, scanned images and photos, paper dolls, buttons, lace, patina.

Fine tip Sharpie marker - I prefer black, but feel free to bring colors if you choose
Paintbrush - For painting gesso onto mixed media panels
