In this Class students will create a small Steampunk clock. Using wood laser cut gears that have been base painted in metallic colors, and a vintage travel alarm clock; a new clock will be created.
Students will be instructed on the deconstruction of a vintage travel alarm clock. They will be instructed on the creation of the new clock in how to space, layer, and embelllish to give the best balance and dimension effects and to allow the illusion of movement.
When finished the clock will measure approximately 7” - 9” in diameter. It will be able to set on a desk or be hung on a wall.
This class is designed for all skill levels. 

$30 Kit fee includes:
Everything is provided to create this Steampunk Clock.
Wood gears, hardware, clock movement, vintage alarm clock, adhesive.

Students will need to provide:
eye protection, apron, lap towel, bent nose pliers, round nose pliers, chain nose pliers, old wire cutters, small flat screwdriver, small Phillips head screwdriver
