NOTE: Sewing machine experience required. If you are traveling, we will have 5 machines available to share. Please contact glenny@artandsoulretreat.com if you live locally, and can bring your machine so we can reserve the five for others!

I made a paper banner years ago in a class and have always wanted to do one in fabric. These banners are my version. In this class you will have different shapes to choose from, or create your own shape!
 Choose words to express your feelings, holidays, gifts, etc. I will have two sizes of all alphabet letters to copy and cut for your banner.
 

Materials Fee $15 paid at beginning of class includes:

Pennant patterns, alphabet print outs in 2 sizes, medium weight white chipboard for letters, fusible web

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

iron and pad (if you have one)
pressing cloth
1-yd muslin
1-yd fabric for back of banner
small fabric pieces for patchwork
neutral color sewing thread
desired trims to cover seams
Sharpie marker
fabric glue
ribbon for hanging
scissors for paper/cardboard
desired glitter/matching paint
paint brush
