Spend a delicious day with your journal learning some of the techniques and processes from my upcoming book on Journaling published Fall, 2009 by North light. Lushly layered pages of text and images using portfolios, gesso, watercolor, transfers, stamps and collage. We'll also make a paper doll, carve a personal symbol with Mastercarve, learn resist techniques, talk about using eyelets and other fasteners, watercolor. Central to this class is free writing or spill writing and engaging in a written chat with our pesky Critic (he/she should not count on job security!) While this class has a playful attitude, you can expect to break down some boundaries and push forward using some of the exercises and techniques.
