H101 - The Love Bird Necklace |
The creme-de-la-creme of Necklaces! Using heart-shaped glass, bird-shaped glass and other elements representing love, we will create a one-of-a-kind necklace that reflects the love we have for our family, our spouse, friends, even our kitty-cat! Each student will create special artwork to put within the glass elements as well as some unique attachments of found objects and ephemera. We will solder the individual pieces and assemble it all together. Our necklace will certainly be a show-stopper and will always represent to us its theme of love and how it was created...made with love. Glass and some extras included.
SUPPLY LIST:
1) Hand Towel (old terry hand towel is good, two are better! Washcloth is too small)
2) Cookie Sheet (a cheapie rectangular non-stick is best) *If you forget yours - stop by a store on your way and get one - I will not have extras and you cannot solder without one*
3) Work Surface (just something to cover and protect your table from messes and burns! 10x12 or larger )
