Hampton Roads Convention Center--BallroomThe vendor event is free to registered attendees and is open to the public for a fee of $10 at the door. We will have approx. 35 vendors, offering finished artwork, art supplies, vintage findings, fabrics, jewelry, collage items, assemblage--something for everyone! A no-host bar will also be available to enhance your evening. Please join us!

Embassy Suites BallroomWe will begin the evening by enjoying a fabulous selection of grand hors d'oeuvres prepared by the Embassy Suites Master Chef. A no-host bar will be available for your discerning palate.
Ranger Industries will then guide us through an embellishment process as we convert a plain fiberboard box into a wonderful recipe card file keepsake. The box contains dividers for your special recipe categories. All supplies will be provided Ranger.
Please bring recipes to swap! Size is 4x6 – they do not have to be decorated. Please bring 60 copies.
Cost is $55--limited to 60 people.

TRANSPORTATION INFOThe Hampton Roads Embassy Suites does not currently offer a shuttle service from the surrounding airports, but you have a number of options available to you. Of course, you may rent a car, or you may contact one of the shuttle/cab services listed below. Please note that the Embassy Suites does have a shuttle available to take guests within a 5-mile radius of the hotel, which is handy if you're not renting a car and just want to get to a store or restaurant in the area.
If you are flying into the Newport News/Williamsburg Airport:
They do not have a shuttle service available, but there are cabs you can take:

(can call ahead but it’s not necessary; they are already waiting there for arrivals).

The same price applies for a reservation of between 1-3 people (they can fit them into a sedan), so it would be worth it to try and coordinate with others flying in or out at around the same time! Any parties of 4 or more, just add $8 to that additional person (so a party of 4 one-way would cost $33 plus $8, a party of 5 would be $33 plus $16, etc.) You MUST call ahead, at least one day in advance.

The Embassy Suites will be offering BUFFET LUNCHES for $8.95, and will also be offering DINNER SPECIALS for A & S attendees. Details will be provided by the hotel when we arrive.
