Learn to showcase and protect small treasures, as well as design custom closures for your book works. This workshop will be divided in two parts; we will explore windows and inlays in the morning and closures in the afternoon. The focus of the class will be the use of a variety of materials including wood, tin, bone, mica, leather, veneers, and a variety of papers. The techniques learned will be helpful and easily applied to any book design.
