Create richly ornamented paper using lots of stencils, stamps, gesso and paint. Explore the luxuriousness of colored gesso and lush patterning. We will concentrate on full strength and washes of color and paste paper techniques to discover the range of our tools, materials and methods. The book format is a lovely and novel one that employs a simple exposed stitch that becomes more interesting and lavish when enhanced with beads. Supply list: apron, bone folder, ruler, xacto knife, cutting mat, pencil, scissors, plastic palette, awl, and a heat gun (but only if you already have one with you) Materials fee includes: all materials necessary for the project.
