In this 3-hour cold-connection chain and bead workshop, we will explore a variety of innovative wire to plier techniques to handcraft earring hooks, assemble chain, and embellish with beads. Complete three pair of gemstone studded Flower earrings from Scott’s upcoming second book, to be published in 2009. Bypassing the need for a hot-torch, we will utilize simple hand-tools to hold gemstone beads on silver wire and then set them into a dynamic chain design composed of flush-cut and tumbled jump rings. Instructor will provide all hand tools needed with supply kits containing sterling silver components and quality gemstone beads; a 14/20 gold-filled option will be available at an additional fee. Some basic chain working knowledge is helpful, but no experience necessary; moderate hand-eye coordination required. ALL materials provided!!
