If you loved the earrings from last years class, then this is the workshop for you. New designs and techniques, plus demos of processes not suited for the time constraints of a 6-hour class include earrings that are etched, domed, stacked, scrolled, riveted and "boned"! This class will focus on three techniques that combine process and project - blue paper etched metal paired with acrylic and transparencies, punching/doming, hammering/scrolling and working with a fascinating new bone-like material. The usual suspects will include metal oxidation/aging, making pin rivets, earrwires and dangles, wirework and wraps and drawing bead with a torch for creative joinery. Each student will leave class with at least three pair.
Please bring your own beads and/or charms to incorporate into your designs. All Levels.
